General:

Be aware that everything I make is handmade and may vary in shape & size and that the ingredients I use may contain traces of nuts.   It is not MaC's responsibility to chase up payments and changes to any details to any order.  First contact will only be a reply to your enquiry then send a final invoice.   It is the client’s responsibility to contact me for any changes and to make payments on time

 

How to order?

Please provide the following information when ordering:

 

• the date of your event

• the occasion/nature of your event (wedding, birthday, christening, etc)

• the event location, delivery address, and delivery/collection time

• how many people you will need to serve

• your daytime phone number or your email address

• an idea of what kind of cake design you are looking for

 

When to book?

Novelty/Birthday Cakes/Cupcakes - 2 weeks’ notice

Wedding Cakes - 2 months

All other orders - 7 days

It is recommended that you please order well in advance due to

limited number of bookings available to avoid disappointment.

 

Pricing:

Cake costings are based on the amount of time that it will take to make your cake, the design, number of serves required and degree of difficulty. 

 

What is the difference between a coffee serve and a dessert serve?

 

A coffee portion is usually - 1”x 1” and dessert portion is usually 1” x 2".  If your wedding includes a three-course meal, coffee portions are usually ample. If serving the cake as a course on its own, dessert portions are advised.

 

Can I keep the top tier (Weddings):

Selecting fruit cake for the top tier of your wedding cake means it can be stored, frozen, wrapped in cling film inside an airtight container for up to twelve months.

 

Deposits, Payments & Cancellations:

A $50 or more deposit is required to confirm & secure your booking 5 days after receiving your invoice and FULL payment paid 7 days before collection date.  All orders made within 2 weeks or less delivery/collection date require FULL payment to confirm order.  If cancellation is received 1 month before your collection date 25% of your deposit is non-refundable.

 

Important information:

All my cakes are covered and filled with ganache (Dark or White depending on Flavour) OR buttercream***.  

Please feel free to contact me about other preferences such as different fillings as it all depends on the weather or environment of your venue.

 

***My buttercream is available in sweet crusting buttercream or Italian Meringue buttercream.
